On September 11, 2001, we were not divided by race. There was no black, no white, no brown, yellow or red! We were all Red, White and Blue!
We were afraid of what the future held.
We were deeply saddened by the death of our fellow Americans.
We were proud of our men and women in law enforcement and fire and rescue.
We came together as a great nation does in her time of deepest sorrow.
We have drifted as time passes. We have become again divided and blurred by our colors. We are uncertain of what lays ahead for our Nation.
Let us put aside our differences and remember the courage of all those who died to remind us the we are THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
